b) We serve a much larger audience with both TV and Radio services.

c) We improve our services and provide better performance and delivery.

Impact Media Consortium, among other things, was incorporated to:-

a) Establish a broadcasting house that offers an alternative solution to negative and immoral content in some media.
b) Foster positive economic, social and spiritual growth in society.
c) Promote positive living through educating the listenership and viewership about sanitation, health and family values and ;
d) Address the ever-changing social, political, cultural, religious and economic issues of the day.

Since its inception, 98.4 Impact fm has been ranked, by independent media surveys, the No.1 Uganda out of the more than 15 operating in the country.


Away from the religious segment, it ranks highly in the general category where it has been fixed among the best 10 radio stations from the more than 164 operating in the country. All this is attributable to brilliant programming, wide coverage, clarity of signal and relent-less pursuit of vision by management and staff.

Primary Profile: -Decision Makers in the Private and Public sector-Middle to high- income earners.
Secondary Profile: -Disadvantaged rural communities that do not have access to newspapers and television.

98.4 Impact fm covers areas that hold almost 50 % of Uganda's population and its very economic heart. (over 13 million people), broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Impact Media Consortium has a wide and committed listener-ship. Added to its listening audience, the consortium has consistently attracted between 100,000 and 150,000 people at its annual indoor event (The Nambole Pass-Over Festival).

Invitation to this festival has not involved any cross-street banners, no newspaper adverts, no leaflets, no handbills, no TV commercials, no free transport, no billboards, no newspaper pullouts, no roadside picketing, no mobile-van speakers, but only one radio station 98.4 Impact fm.

Alex is a graduate of Mass Communication (MUK) and has spent much of his professional life with the Christian Radio Network in various capacities.Alex currently handles a number of assignments both on and off-air including co-producing and presenting several programs.

Ruth holds a Bachelor of Arts (MUK) and a Masters in Public Administration and Management (Nkumba University). Ruth has worked as Administrative Assistant with Victory Christian Centre before joining CRN.
